Robotic Needle Steering by Concentric Beveled-Tip Tube and Wire

Designed and fabricated a steerable needle actuation system in the Robotics and Medical Systems (RaMS) Lab at UCR. The system utilizes asymmetric concentric beveled needles to generate vertical forces, enabling controlled steering of the needle set. Results were published and presented at IEEE CASE 2025 in Los Angeles.
